The leaders of the European Union (EU) will meet in Brussels tomorrow, Thursday, for an "extraordinary summit" to deal with the Ukraine crisis.
The meeting comes on the heels of President Putin’s decision on Monday, the 21st of Feb, to officially recognized Ukraine’s breakaway Donetsk & Luhansk regions as independent states. Putin also requested that Russia’s parliament “immediately recognize” the agreements as valid.
What Western media, conveniently or ignorantly, did not disclose is that tensions have recently risen dramatically in eastern Ukraine, with reports of a growing number of cease-fire violations, multiple shelling incidents, and evacuation of civilians from the pro-Russian breakaway regions of Donetsk and Luhansk.
One thing is sure: It became evident to Putin that, after the fall of the USSR, the West deliberately ignored Russia’s interests. Then, when NATO started to expand eastward, it sent a strong message to Moscow that time is of the essence for Russia to take actions, no matter what.

Sooner than later China will resume buying Soybean from USA, not because China is caving in as a result of US tariff threats, China will do it to prevent Brazil completely dominating the Chinese soybean imports.

AMSTERDAM, Oct 27 (Reuters) - The Netherlands' decision to take control of chipmaker Nexperia in September was due to fears the company's former CEO was already dismantling the company's European operations and moving production to China, four sources in The Hague familiar with the government's thinking said on Monday.
The Dutchy provides no proven evidence, if its aim is to steal Nexperia's european operation from China, they now got what they want:
- on October 20, 2025 Nexperia's China-based division declares its independence, it will operate as a Chinese company, it will has F all to do with Nexperia in Netherland.
