the U.S. Bloomberg website says Russia’s war on Ukraine has led to a profound reassessment in European capitals of its individual and collective relations with China.
in the face of the need to quickly eliminate the dependence on Russian energy accumulated over decades, Govs from Rome to Prague were reassessing their economic and political relations with China.
Many European citizens (even some Gov officials behind closed doors) are questioning the wisdom/impact of US/West sanctions on Russia. Who is being impacted the most by the sanctions? Are sanctions working?
And so, the stage is set. The meteoric rise of China, the decline in the U.S.’s share of global power, the dissolution of a global order, and the possibility of joint military ties between Russia and China suggest that the shift in the global balance of power is already underway. We should not dismiss the warning signs of the return of Russia as a player that is, after all, a nuclear superpower, or certainly second to none with respect to destructive capabilities.
One thing is sure: There is a profound reassessment in European capitals of its individual and collective relations with China.

Sooner than later China will resume buying Soybean from USA, not because China is caving in as a result of US tariff threats, China will do it to prevent Brazil completely dominating the Chinese soybean imports.
With Brazil, Australia, Argentina and now USA, all competing for Chinese soybean buyers, China will has a big say in who to buy, where to buy, when to buy and how much they are willing to pay for the commodity.
The irony is China will never able to get itself into such an ideal situation if the dumb Trump didn't come out with his stupid self harming tariff policy.
AIMHO.
China released statement after Xi met with U.S. President Donald J. Trump in Korea for 1 hour and 40 minutes.
(Side note: China just stating the reality, none of Trump's usual creative imagination.
Excluding time for handshakes, false smiles, etc; about 1 hour and 30 min max left for the 2 leaders to talk, half of that time was used in translation. How many issues could possibily be resolved in 40 minutes? Bottom line is: Xi just show up to save Trump's face..... AIMHO.)

AMSTERDAM, Oct 27 (Reuters) - The Netherlands' decision to take control of chipmaker Nexperia in September was due to fears the company's former CEO was already dismantling the company's European operations and moving production to China, four sources in The Hague familiar with the government's thinking said on Monday.
The Dutchy provides no proven evidence, if its aim is to steal Nexperia's european operation from China, they now got what they want:
Before the daylight robbery, 70% of Nexperia's chips production was already in China. Now the Dutchy just up it to 100%.
Is the Dutchy helping US in its effort to weaken EU/Japanese automakers competitiveness in the shrinking non electric car markets?
