Few facts to consider:
- When India joined the World Trade Organization (WTO) on January 1, 1995. India's GDP was approximately $354.32 billion and China's GDP was $485.4 billion.
- China joined the World Trade Organization (WTO) some 6 years later on December 11, China's GDP was $1.355 trillion when India's GDP was $567 billion.
- In 2025, China's GDP is projected to be around $19.23 trillion and India's GDP is estimated to be approximately $4.19 trillion.
Both China and India are WTO memebrs, 2 very similar countries in many aspects, despite China joined WTO 6 years after India, but, why China economic growth out paced India by such a big margin?
