Lots of talk about Ai race between China and USA . Often, reality is being overlooked.

Using its less advanced domestic Ai chip sets, innovative Chinese peasants are successfully doing a lot of AI works without America's Ai chips. The question to the deluded Americans is: can USA mass produce Ai chips without Chinese rare earth?

No Chinese rare earth will virtually bring the USA AI progress to a near standstill. Need to say more?

(Side note: Also, all chips makers including TSMC uses rare earth elements, like gallium and germanium, in the manufacturing of advanced chips, as these materials are crucial for creating the unique properties needed for high-performance semiconductors. Is china's economic rise was mainly a result of joining WTO?

Few facts to consider:

  • When India joined the World Trade Organization (WTO) on January 1, 1995. India's GDP was approximately $354.32 billion and China's GDP was $485.4 billion.
  • China joined the World Trade Organization (WTO) some 6 years later on December 11, China's GDP was $1.355 trillion when India's GDP was $567 billion.
  • In 2025, China's GDP is projected to be around $19.23 trillion and India's GDP is estimated to be approximately $4.19 trillion.

Both China and India are WTO memebrs, 2 very similar countries in many aspects, despite China joined WTO 6 years after India, but, why China economic growth out paced India by such a big margin?
*Answer: WTO membership helps, but its China that makes it a success.

IS USA right to claimed China benefited more than USA after joinng the WTO?

The attached graph shown that USA benefited just as much, if not more.
