China is not backing down and USA is escalating:

On December 2, 2025 local time, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Moscow. After the meeting, Sergei Lavrov said that the two heads of state exchanged visits this year, injecting new impetus into further consolidating the Russia-China comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination. Russia abides by the one-China principle and firmly supports China's position on the Taiwan question. Russia is ready to take the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Russia-China Treaty of Good-Neighborliness and Friendly Cooperation next year as an opportunity to intensify high-level exchanges, deepen practical cooperation, enhance personnel exchanges, and achieve win-win results. Russia supports China's hosting of the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting and appreciates and supports the Global Governance Initiative proposed by President Xi Jinping. Russia is willing to work with China to jointly uphold the purposes and principles of the UN Charter, strengthen cooperation within multilateral frameworks such as the United Nations and its Security Council, APEC, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and BRICS, safeguard the national interests of both countries, and maintain international security and stability.

On December 4, China deployed more than one hundred naval and coast guard vessels across East Asian waters in an extensive maritime show of force.
USA's intention is clear - initiate a proxy war near China to stop China's rapid rsie to become world number 1 super power.
USA has made the move - China/Philippine conflicts, Takaichi's deliberate provocation, selling more arms to Taiwan, relocate and further stengthen miliatary forces in Guam.......etc.
How should China respond?
Get itself ready to drop a few FD 61 on Tokyo and fire its most deadly ICBMs at all US cities.

Is Western democracy a Scam?
Major Western nations and organizations consistently and strongly praise Taiwan as a vibrant and robust democracy:
