It all started by Takaichi's Taiwan Red Line crossing declaration: " a China war with Taiwan is a war with Japan."
Following statements by Japan's Defense Minister Takaichi regarding Taiwan, China retaliated with diplomatic pressure (summoning the ambassador, demands to retract remarks), economic measures (suspending Japanese seafood imports), and cultural impacts (postponing Japanese movie releases, warning citizens against travel to Japan) to punish Japan for perceived interference, signaling strong disapproval and escalating tensions over Taiwan.

China’s ambassador was summoned after Chinese J-15 were accused of twice locking radar on to Japanese F-15 fighter jets near south-east of Okinawa at the weekend.
China countered: claiming that Japan, was “completely inconsistent with the facts” and told Tokyo to “immediately stop slandering and smearing”. It said in a statement that aircraft from Japan’s self -defence forces (SDF) “seriously endangered flight safety” by repeatedly approaching its training zones.
Now, Japan PM Sanae Takaichi vowed ‘resolute’ response.
In event of a China- japan war, how can China best defeat Japan?
IMHO, Just do similar to what USA did to end Japan's WW2. Go drop a couple of FD-61 on Tokyo as soon as war is started. Japan has slaugthered upto 30 million Chinese during WW2, China should never give Japan the opportunity to kill another Chinese person.
