On thre surface, US and Israel combined will has sufficient military power to beat Iran decisively.

Reality doesn't look so bright for US and Israel:

Has US and Israel enough air power and ammo to substain current level of bombing strikes?

How long can Israel and US successfully defend against steadly streams of waves and waves of Iranian drones and misille attacks deliberly set out to exhaust their defence capability?
(When that happens, Iran will start to trigger drone/missile attacks that will do real damages.)

Closing of Strait of Hormus is an easy Iranian option, what will hapen if Iran decide to wipe out all oil production facilities in the region?

(Side note: the problem with politicans like Trump is they are incapable of look into future consquences beyond the tip of their Bricks.)
